  Rooms very small for 3 people. Asked about coffee machines. 3 there but 2 broken. No decaf although we emailed many times no reply. Not disability friendly. Many steps and stairs no steps or rails to get in and out of Pool. Only area for groups to sit not accessible as steps up and down and then up again. Also no toilet anywhere near pavilion. A strange dog also wandering around while we were trying to sit and eat outside.

  Stayed in the Villa with family, lovely spaces, lots of room for all ages. Great indoor and outdoor entertaining areas. Beautiful part of the Hunter, with wonderful wineries and restaurants nearby. Very helpful booking service with Jo, thank you . Would love to revisit again and spend more time. All round terrific stay.

  My room was beautiful, immaculately clean, neat, cosy and comfortable..
  Large windows on two sides provided stunning views over rolling hills surrounding the property.
  Complimentary chocolates and aromatic fresh flower posies were a delightful surprise.

  Jo and Sam were the perfect hosts during our 2-night stay. We were lucky to stay in a separate house, that can welcome up to 10 guests (4 bedrooms with double/queen beds, and a master bedroom). Everything was very clean and comfortable. We were thrilled by the welcome nibbles, a bottle of Petersons wine and some cheese. The whole family enjoyed the hearty breakfast served in the guesthouse kitchen, perfect to start a great day. It was like being home, but with a great service!

  We recently had the pleasure of staying at Thistle Hill Guesthouse, and it was truly a memorable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a stunning property.
  
  One of the highlights of our stay was the morning walk on the property, which was absolutely breathtaking. The host took the time to explain a list of incredible restaurants in the area, which added to our overall experience.
  
  The rooms were exceptionally clean and exuded a sense of luxury that made us wish we could have stayed longer. What impressed us even more was the dedication to cleanliness and hygiene, as the entire property was meticulously cleaned with a pesticide cleaner in the morning to ensure a bug-free environment.
  
  One of the most delightful surprises was the opportunity to witness kangaroos and rabbits during our early morning explorations. It added a unique touch to our stay, connecting us with the natural beauty of the area.
  
  The well-equipped kitchen was a bonus, allowing us to enjoy great coffee and prepare our own meals with ease. Thistle Hill Guesthouse truly exceeded our expectations, and I can't recommend it enough for anyone seeking a luxurious and nature-immersed retreat. It's a place where comfort, cleanliness, and serenity come together for an unforgettable experience. We can't wait to return!
